The Daken Claw Steel Post Insulator fits snuggly to star steel posts and it comes with one attached securing to the post. The Claw design allows it to be used with most Hot Tapes up to 18mm holding them flat with no bunching. The tape is held more than 25mm away from the post giving excellent insulation. A 7.5mm hole in the body of the insulator can accommodate a galvanised fence wire or extra sighter wire.
